But why are the three never photographed - or seen(?) - in the same place together? My theory is that - much like one Cabinet member during the State of the Union address - one of them is always the Designated Survivor. To maintain continuity of awesome in case of an unexpected catastrophic event.
I think the real reason why it was called the Greatest Event In Television History was because for one brief, shining moment, Adam Scott, Jon Hamm, and Paul Rudd were on the same screen. And for one moment, everyone held their collective breath, hoping some catastrophic event wouldn’t destroy the world’s greatest sources of awesome in one fell swoop.
